There's no account, no login, and no email address anywhere in this app. We don't run analytics or tracking of any kind. The only things that ever leave your device are described below, and none of them are tied to your identity.
The name you enter is held in memory on your device for the current session only. It's never transmitted anywhere, never stored on any server, and disappears when you close the app.
AI review is off by default. The Review engine screen tells you exactly what this sends and to whom, and you must explicitly check a consent box before AI review can be turned on — nothing is sent to Anthropic before you do that.
What's sent: the in-game text you're working with — your brief, your submission, and the prompts used to generate the panel's reactions. It never includes your name or any personal information, only game text.
Who it's sent to: Anthropic, the company that makes Claude, the AI model this feature uses. Under Anthropic's API terms, this data is not used to train their models and is retained only briefly for abuse monitoring.
This happens one of two ways, depending on which option you pick:
Subscribed via Genuinely Terrible Briefs Pro: your device sends the text to our server, which forwards it to Anthropic using our own API key. We don't log or store what's sent.
Bring your own API key: your key stays on your device for the session and is used to call Anthropic directly — it never passes through our server at all.
If AI review is off, everything is generated locally on your device from a fixed content bank, and nothing is sent anywhere.
Subscriptions are billed and processed entirely by Apple. We use RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service, to check whether your subscription is active. We never see or store your payment details — Apple and RevenueCat handle that under their own privacy policies.
This app isn't directed at children under 13, and since we don't collect any personal information from anyone, there's nothing collected from children either.
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change too. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the current version.
Email [email protected] and we'll get back to you.
